If you are flying in for our AirFest here are a few items to help with your planning:
- Fly-in visitors are welcome to arrive as early as 0730, gates will open to the non-flying public at 0900.
- The fly-in ramp will not be open to the public. Only event staff, aircraft owners, passengers, and escorted guests may be on the fly-in ramp. Each fly-in visitor will get a wristband as they enter the public venue area so that we will allow you access when you wish to return to your airplane without interrogation.
- The airport will remain open for normal operations throughout the event day, there will not be a TFR or wavered airspace for this event.
- The event venue will be based near the terminal building and WWII control tower. Staff will be able to assist with transient parking and will be monitoring Unicom 122.8.
- Ride aircraft/hot ramp area is in front of the terminal building, this is reserved for specific participants.
- The WWII control tower is located across from the intersection of taxiway Delta and Delta 3, adjacent to the terminal building.
- Calm wind runway is 21.
- Please use caution when operating on or near the ramp, watch for pedestrians.
- Be alert for a variety of and numerous aircraft types operating in the vicinity of the airport. Some aircraft may be operating without radios!
- Stay tuned for more information and updates as the event date nears
